Tom LeBlanc worked for Keystone Valve & Controls, now Tyco Valves and Controls, Inc. for 18 years after graduating with a BBA-Finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982.
Tom's experience with Keystone/Tyco has been concentrated in sales, distribution and management. Tom has a highly successful track record of managing Keystone's direct sales/distribution company in Los Angeles, CA, covering portions of five western states from 1987-1991. In that time, sales and profits more than doubled. In 1991-1992, Tom was a Product Marketing Manager with Keystone. In this position, Tom wrote the design standards and successfully launched a product that remains as one of Keystone's largest selling product lines. In 1993, Tom became the manager of Keystone's direct sales offices in Houston, Freeport and Corpus Christi, TX. During Tom's tenure, sales and profits tripled in four years under heavy competitive pressure. In September of 1998, after Tyco International, Inc.'s acquisition of Keystone International, Inc., Tom was promoted to National Sales Manager of the newly formed Tyco Valves & Controls, Inc. Tom managed sales and distribution through six regional managers in the USA and Canada. At the time of his amiable departure, sales exceeded $115,000,000.
Mark graduated in May 1993 with a BBA from the University of North Texas.
Mark worked in outside sales for Flow Systems from 1993 until 2003. Mark was responsible for recommending, selling, assembling and installing valves and valve automation equipment. During his 10 years with Flow Systems Mark gained valuable valve application and installation experience. Mark's customer base was very diverse but he specialized in demanding applications for the semiconductor and industrial process industries.
Mark joined Genesis Systems in 2003 and is currently the North Texas and Texas Panhandle Territory Manager for Genesis Systems.
Dan graduated from Saint Edwards University in Austin, TX with a degree in Business Administration.
While in school Dan had the opportunity to intern with Keystone International in their Australia, Canada and Houston facilities. Dan went to work full time for Keystone International after graduating from college. Dan has over 19 years experience in the valve industry. Most of his experience has been in outside sales dealing directly with end user customers helping them achieve their goals by properly applying and troubleshooting their particular valve requirements.
Dan worked for Keystone Valve USA from 1990 until 2001. From 1990 until 1992 Dan was responsible for all manufacturing, scheduling and production of K-lock high performance butterfly valves at the Houston manufacturing facility. He also spent one year in inside sales working directly with Keystone distribution network. In 1993 Dan took over the Houston ship channel territory for Keystone Valve USA and worked out of the Dear Park, TX facility. Dan sold directly to the chemical plants and refineries in and around the Houston ship channel. In 1999 Dan was promoted to the Houston ship channel sales manager.
In May of 2001 Dan became a partner in Genesis Systems. Dan is currently the West Texas Territory manager for Genesis Systems.
Mike Mabry graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in May 2003. After graduation, Mike went to work for Valspar in Garland, TX after working in their co-op program during school. Mike held various roles at Valspar including Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Supervisor and Engineering & Maintenance Manager. Mike has additional manufacturing experience as Process Safety Management Coordinator and he is also Six-Sigma Greenbelt Certified.
Mike joined Genesis Systems in October 2008 and brings with him valuable engineering and valve application experience.
Terry Pettit joined Genesis in March of 2010 as the Territory Manager for East and Northeast Texas. Terry worked for 20 years in mechanical maintenance for a major coal fired power plant in this region. During the past 10 years Terry has worked as a representative for a specialty valve mfg. and a general industrial distributor in East Texas. Terry's experience as a former customer and sales representative will prove to be a valuable asset to Genesis and customers
